To Be Happy – Make others Happy

We are seriously looking for happiness in our lives. The meaning of happiness varies from individual to individual and time to time. Some people think if they have more than enough money they will be happy. If that is the case all the rich people should be happy. But in reality it is not.

1. Happiness is not the result of possessing some assets or belongings. It is a sense of feeling which should be felt internally. But we are searching for it outside.

2. Happiness is not the result of any act. But it is an act itself.

YES!! Happiness is an action - a feeling. If you think you are happy; you will be happy. It you think you are worried; you also would be.

We have the power to control our thought process. By changing the thought we can change the feeling, in turn, Change the outer world which has major impact on us. But most of us do not know how to control the thought in a right manner to help us to get the happiness.

One of the easiest way to control thought process is by – Meditation. Some people find it somewhat difficult to do the meditation. For those, always there is a simpler way. What is that?



Help others!!!

It is hard to do than saying. How to help others?

To help others we need not to donate huge money to others. It is more than that.

“Make a smile on other’s face”

It could be anything which makes others happy. Like, helping a blind man to cross the road across or helping a vegetable seller to lift his/her bucket or giving seat to sit for an old man or giving a used shirt to a person who is shivering due to cold climate etc.

We might have done these kinds of actions in our life before. But definitely we have done those without happiness. Confusing? I mean to say that we have missed the opportunities or chances or never bothered about to notice the happiness the receiver is getting out of our help. There is no need to spell the word “Thank you”. Look up their faces for the expressions. It says a lot.

Hence when you help others next time – do not miss the chance to see how their face glows. This will keep you the whole day happy.

Natural way to control/reduce blood sugar (Diabetic)


How many of us know that Blood pressure if not controlled or treated may definitely lead to Diabetics !

But diabetic shows its symptoms only after it is well developed in the body. More dangerously, diabetics is the mother of all the diseases. The main organs affected by diabetics are Kidney and Heart. It is strongly recommended that the people who are having the possibility of developing this diabetic (mainly obese and  hereditary reasons)should go for testing of blood sugar yearly once.

Remember it is better late than never. As soon as we come to know that we are diabetic we should take medicines to control it under the advice of a specialist. For those who do not want the medicines always there is a way !!!

"Fenugreek is the answer"

Do add the Fenugreek in daily food intake in any form. I have given below the some ways of taking the Fenugreek.

1. In a tumblerful of buttermilk, add 20 gms of Fenugreek and kept aside it over night. And in the morning (as soon as you get up from the sleep) drink this wholy including Fenugreek.

2. Soak the Fenugreek  in a cup of water for 6 to 8 hours. In the next day morning grind this to get the paste. Then mix this with a glass of buttermilk and drink it.

Do remember that during the time you are following this therapy you should avoid 'direct sugar' intake. After 40 days of follwoing this practice if you check your sugar level will read minimum than the last reading.

Simple or Natural way to reduce body Cholesterol

We hate to take medicines for its smell, taste etc,. But we want to be free from all the illness and disorders. Ancient people discovered and knew how to manage all the body related issues. The present generation, of course, we have neglected those guidelines provided by our forefathers.

Here I have given a small tip on “How to reduce the body cholesterol without medicines?”



1. Take a piece of Ginger (about 15 to 25 grams)
2. Just crush that.
3. In a bowl take a cup of water and keep it on flame.
4. Add the crushed Ginger to the above bowl. Allow it to boil for 10 mts. ( This allows the extract of ginger mixes with water)
5. Remove the bowl from the flame. Set it to cool.
6. Then filter the contents into a cup. (of course discard the residues)
7. To the above add some milk and one tea spoonful honey.
8. Now !!! Drink it whole.

Follow this practice every day and see the difference in your cholesterol level reading after one month’s time.Definitely you will show a less reading when compared to the last reading.

Pranayama for health and happiness

Every one wants to be happy and healthy in life forever. Is it possible to achieve this?

"YES".
There is a simple way to do which keeps our mind fresh all the day long and stress free. Pranayama is the one which I am talking about.



Though there are several types of pranayama we should practice the following three in order to be happy and healthy everyday.

• Bhastrica Pranayama
• Kapalbhati Pranayama
• Agnisar Kriya

Let us see how to perform these:

It is advisable to do pranayama early in the morning (well before the sun rise) in an open place by sitting in a comfortable position. Make sure you keep your spine straight.

1. Bhastrica Pranayama - This is the simplest form of pranayama. Take a deep breath inside (inhale) and exhale out the breath deeply. Just do this for two to three minutes.

2. Kapalbhati Pranayama - Breath in deeply. Suddenly contract your stomach muscles to exhale out that breath. The next inhalation will be automatic. In this we have to contract the stomach to exhale the air. That's it. Continue for 10 to 15 times. Then take rest and then continue second round. we can do this for 10 to 15 mts.

3. Agnisar Kriya - This is somewhat like Kapalbhati. But instead of forcefully exhaling the breath we exhale it completely and then bring our stomach to back and forth continuously. We can do this for 5 to 10 mts.

Benefits:

The benefits are numerous. If we regularly follow the pranayama in the long run we would not face any issues related to physical and mental health. However I have listed down the inportant benefits below:

1. This keeps us brisk for the whole day long.
2. Stress will be controlled initially and then will be stress free later after some time of practice.
3. It destroys the fat inside the body. So this reduces the over weight. Especially for females, this gives a narrow hip.
4. All the biological functions of the organs are regulated. This is the major advantage for diabetic patients. If they do pranayama for 2 weeks and check the glucose reading, they will be surprised by the result.

Cholesterol - How to treat it?

Most of the middle aged men and women are suffering by fat/cholesterol in body which is very dangerous if left untreated as it may lead to heart attack.But this can be easily controlled and even treated without medicines.
"Do you want to know HOW?"

It is so simple. Every morning take 3 to 5 garlic on empty stomach. This should be done even before brushing the teeth. For some, the smell of garlic would not be acceptable if they eat it raw. They can fry (with little use of oil) in a pan and then eat it.

• The body cholesterol is controlled and brought to the normal range in due course of time.
• Also it decreases the high blood pressure.
